Factory History

Protec Bicycle Helmet owns a modern OEM helmet factory with an average capacity of 5,000,000 helmets/year. Established in 2001, the first Protec Helmet factory was located in Noi Bai Industrial Park, Son Son, Hanoi, Vietnam. In the beginning, the factory only produced about 5,000 helmets per year, but so far has reached a capacity of 2,500,000 helmets per year. With the goal of expanding production and business scale, both domestic and international, in 2020 Protec has completed the construction of a new factory in Ba Thien II Industrial Park, Binh Xuyen, Vinh Phuc. The factory is built on an area of 20,000m2, with the capacity of 5,000,000 helmets/year. The factory has an advanced technology production line on one floor, equipped with a system of modern machinery to optimize production capacity. In addition, the new Protec factory is located in a very convenient traffic area, only 30 minutes driving from Noi Bai International Airport, and 3 driving hours from Hai Phong International Port - Vietnam's largest seaport. Moreover, within a 10km radius around the factory is a system of restaurants, hotels, golf courses, and other facilities with many attractive incentives to partners of Protec. Currently, Protec Company has about 300 employees, including 200 workers working directly at the factory and about 100 officers and experts working in offices and stores system. 100% of workers are local people, living within 1-hour driving from the factory. 1/3 of workers are people with disabilities, who have been trained and working in an assembly line. The factory operates six days a week with shifts adjusted for production orders. In addition, the average national holiday time in Vietnam is between 12-15 days (including weekends), lower than other countries in the region (20-25 days)

MODERN TECHNOLOGY LINE

Protec factory applies automation machines and lines to produce high-quality motorcycle helmets, bicycle helmets, and sports helmets. 100% Thermal Press Machines, EPS material processing machines, paint sprayers, screen printers, ... are completely newly equipped to optimize productivity and product quality. In addition, we also make efforts to improve technology for products that meet European and American standards, toward OEM, ODM production, and export.

LABORATORY OF PRODUCT QUALITY

With the aims of safety to users, Protec invested in a modern laboratory, with all modern equipment, which qualified to international standards. The laboratory is under regular maintenance and operated by experts. Moreover, the staff working in the laboratory are trained in-deep. For each project and customer's requirements, we will conduct product testing based on international standards such as CPSC of USA, EN 1078 of Europe, and AS / NZS 2063 of Australia / New Zealand.

On average, each Protec employee has 5 to more than 15 years of experience in helmet manufacturing.
